Good morning viewers this is Shaurya Gulati. I live in Delhi, India. I am a student of grade 8th. Since childhood I have been interested in playing as well as watching Soccer or football as some call it.

This Blog contains detailed information all about soccer, from it's history to the names of all famous players. I mean players like Christiano Ronaldo & Lionel Messi will have detailed information about 'em.

Some of the information written here is copied from various sources, but I can assure you that more than 60% of the information is written by me.

My favorite player is Lionel Messi.

Lionel Messi :-

•  Lionel Andres "Leo Messi" (born 24 June 1987) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a forward for La Liga club FC Barcelona and the Argentina national team.

•  He serves as the captain of his country's national football team. By the age of 21, Messi had received Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year nominations. The following year, in 2009, he won his first Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year awards. He followed this up by winning the inaugural FIFA Ballon d'Or in 2010, and then again in 2011 & 2012.

•  He also won the 2010–11 UEFA Best Player in Europe Award. At the age of 24, Messi became Barcelona's all-time top scorer in all official club competitions. At age 25, Messi became the youngest player to score 200 La Liga goals.

CHRISTIANO RONALDO :-

•  Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, OIH, (born 5 February 1985), commonly known as Cristiano Ronaldo, is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a forward for Spanish La Liga club Real Madrid and who serves as captain of the Portuguese national team.

•  He became the most expensive footballer in history after moving from Manchester United to Real Madrid in a transfer worth £80 million (€93.9 million/$131.6 million).

•  In addition, his contract with Real Madrid, in which he is paid €12 million per year, makes him one of the highest-paid footballers in the world, and his buyout clause is valued at €1 billion as per his contract.

FOOTBALL HISTORY:-

• Two of the earliest recorded football type games from Europe include Episkyros from Ancient Greece and the Roman version Harpastum, which similar to pre-codified "Mob Football" involved more handling the ball than kicking. 

•  Many earlier competitive games revolving around the kicking of a ball have been played in a few countries throughout history, such as cuju in China.

•   Non-competitive games included kemari in Japan and woggabaliri in Australia. The modern rules of association football are based on the mid-19th century efforts to standardise the widely varying forms of football played in the public schools of England. 

•  The history of football in England dates back to at least the eighth century.
